When you're riding with Deliveroo you've probably been offered two orders from one or two partners at the same time. We call these stacked orders - they are designed so you can earn more in less time by reducing your travel time.
Recently we’ve introduced triple stacked orders! With triple stacking, you'll be able to accept 3 orders from different partners at once. This new way to stack will help you make the most of your time on the road and maximise your earnings.
We’ve also made a few changes to the rider app to make your time on the road simpler. To make it easier to see where the customer and partner are, we’ve created pins that will be grouped in a circle on the map. When you tap the circle, or zoom in, it will show you exactly where each partner or customer pin is located on the map.
We've also improved the information you’re given when you're offered an order. We’ve added tags to let you know when there are order requirements, like an ID check. This will appear at the bottom of the screen, above the "Accept and go" button. These tags will give you an overview of the order and help you make the best decision before accepting an order.
Please see an example of the new updates below:
You can use all this information to choose whether to accept or reject the stacked order.
If you choose to accept any stacked or triple stacked order, make sure to keep the orders separate in a thermal bag to avoid any potential cross-contamination. In particular, it’s important to keep hot and cold items from different orders separate.
As with all orders, you can choose if you want to accept stacked or triple stacked orders, and you can unassign from any part of the order if you no longer want to complete it.
We hope that these improvements will help you to complete more orders to earn more and make the most of your time on the road. We'll be closely monitoring how these features improve the experience for riders, partners and customers, and we would love to hear your feedback by contacting Rider Support.
