Collecting the correct order from grocery and shopping partners

We’ve recently started rolling out order number confirmation in the rider app to help you make sure you’re collecting the correct order at restaurants, by scanning the order receipt in the rider app. You can find more details on the rider website.

We’ve heard your feedback that many partners don’t use order receipts, like grocery and shopping partners. Good news - the order scanning feature works when the order number is written on the bag as well!

Orders like grocery or shopping orders won’t have a printed receipt. For these orders, scan the handwritten order number on the bag. If that doesn’t work, take a photo of the order number. You’ll need to allow camera permissions in your device settings. 

Once you’ve collected the order and scanned or photographed the order number, you can tap ‘Go to customer’ and complete the order as usual.
