Riding with us over the Festive Period

The festive period is just around the corner, so as people across the country begin to celebrate with friends and family, here's some information about riding with us over Christmas and New Year.

Christmas fee dates

  • We’ll process your invoices as normal throughout the festive period, fee day this year will continue as normal on Tuesday 26th of December and Tuesday 2nd of January.

Open All Day on Christmas

  • We'll be open on Christmas Eve (24th December), Christmas Day (25th December) and Boxing Day (26th December), so if you want to ride with Deliveroo just go online as you would on any other day.

New Year's Eve/Day

  • We anticipate that there’ll be plenty of orders to deliver during this period.
  • Take care on the roads, as it may be busier than usual with lots of people moving about. 
  • If there are celebrations in your area please make sure to follow any traffic restrictions or diversions.
  • Make sure not to ride through any closed streets, and follow any instructions from police or event staff. 

Rider Support

  • Rider support will be available throughout the festive period, but response times may be slower. If you have any issues or questions while on an order, please reach out to rider support as normal.

Safety Advice

  • If you choose to ride with us over the festive period make sure that you take extra care on the road as conditions may be cold, wet and windy.
  • We advise you to wear warm, protective and reflective clothes, use your lights and take extra care on the roads. 
  • If you are in need of new Deliveroo Kit, we recommend heading over to the Kit Store to order more.
